Way to go, Caroline!

We are happy to share that Caroline Sausser, daughter of Eco Partner’s marketing communications manager Julanne Sausser, was selected as this year’s recipient of the Hoosier Chapter of SWANA College Scholarship.  Selected each spring, applicants must be a Hoosier Chapter member, or the spouse, child, grandchild, nephew, or niece of a current Hoosier Chapter member.

Caroline is pictured receiving her award from Hoosier SWANA Chapter President Curt Publow at the chapter’s Landfill Operator Training luncheon in May. She will be a senior this fall at Miami University in Oxford, OH, where she is majoring in Classical Languages and Classical Humanities with a minor in Archaeology. Last summer, Caroline participated in a dig at the Tel Akko Total Archaeology Field School in Israel where she sorted ancient trash! If you want to know what that experience was like, check out her blog post.

She follows in the footsteps of Vic Roe who was awarded the Hoosier Chapter of SWANA College Scholarship in 2015. Vic is a former Eco Partners summer intern and son of Eco Partner’s Elizabeth and Gary Roe.
